UT Health East Texas Physicians welcomes Muhammad Baig, MD to Tyler
Tyler (August 3, 2023) — UT Health East Texas is expanding gastroenterology services in Tyler with the addition of Muhammad Baig, MD. Dr. Baig is a board-certified interventional/advanced gastroenterologist and sees patients 18 years and older.
Dr. Baig’s special areas of medical interest include pancreaticobiliary disorders, endoscopic management of reflux and obesity, pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, endo-hepatology and third space endoscopy.
His mission is to provide safe, compassionate and personalized care to all of his patients. Dr. Baig got into healthcare to make a difference in the lives of others. “I want to make quality healthcare more accessible for those who truly need it,” he said.
