TEMPORARY CHANGES IN PLACE AT LONE STAR INTERSECTION AFTER CRASH
| Work at US 259 and FM 729 could take a few weeks |

ATLANTA – Crews are working to conduct repairs at the intersection of US 259 and FM 729 in Lone Star after a morning crash resulted in the destruction of a traffic signal pole.
Work at this intersection will include the reconstruction of the traffic signal foundation and the pole, and could take a few weeks. In the meantime, traffic on FM 729 approaching Lone Star Steel must stop and yield to traffic on US 259.
Temporary signage is in place at this intersection to warn motorists of the temporary change.
Please use extreme caution in this area. Be mindful of other motorists along with our TxDOT crews and contractors that will be working on these repairs.
