Thierry Believes A New Way Forward Is Needed For Texas
Who: Thierry Tchenko (TEE-AIRY CHEN-KOH) is a first-generation Texan born and raised in Houston who was previously a former campaign staffer for President Biden’s campaign, government official, and most recently a nonprofit executive at Rebuilding Together Houston which is one of Texas’s largest nonprofits providing home repairs to seniors, veterans, and low-income families.
Why: Thierry wants to help create a New Way Forward in Texas that focuses on serving everyday Texans and working families in the state. Texas is currently dealing with major issues and we cannot continue looking to everyday politicians to get us out of the political problems they helped create. Thierry believes it is not good enough to talk about how bad the other side is. Instead, Thierry has a positive vision for the state and has reasons for why people should vote for a Democrat instead of just voting against Ted Cruz. Democrats have not won a statewide race in almost 30 years and Thierry plans on ending the drought.
