Singing Surgeon Dr. Elvis Francois to speak at PATH Week Celebration Dinner

(Tyler – July 17, 2023) PATH (People Attempting to Help) is excited to announce that Dr. Elvis Francois will be  the keynote speaker at the annual PATH Week Celebration Dinner on Thursday, September 7, at the Green  Acres Baptist Church Crosswalk Conference Center in Tyler. 

Dr. Elvis Francois, a Harvard-trained orthopedic surgeon turned singing sensation, will grace the stage with his  mesmerizing voice and captivating storytelling. Dr. Elvis has been featured on The Ellen Show, Forbes, Rolling  Stone, Good Morning America, Today, and The View, among countless other mainstream media appearances.  

Dr. Elvis also appeared on the Smash Hit Fox TV Show “The Masked Singer” in Season 4 as “The Serpent,” where  another doctor, Dr. Ken Jeong, emphatically praised him. He was also named to People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man  Alive” list for 2020. 

Dr. Elvis initially gained national attention in 2018 for an impromptu rendition of “Alright” performed after a  trauma call shift. In 2020 he received worldwide recognition after he sang a cover of “IMAGINE” promoting hope  during the COVID-19 pandemic, the video of which has been viewed by tens of millions. In 2020, he produced an  album of song covers that peaked at #2 on the iTunes charts and top 20 on the Billboard charts. 

“At PATH, the work we do with our neighbors in need is rooted in personal connection and building  relationships,” says Andrea Wilson-Lobaugh, Executive Director of PATH. “Dr. Elvis’ background has spoken  about music being a personal connection beyond the demands of his practice and how that makes a difference.  Through Dr. Elvis’ music and words, he will remind us of the power we hold within ourselves to change lives and  uplift communities. 

The PATH Week Celebration Dinner is an annual fundraising and awareness event designed to highlight PATH’s  many programs and services that offer kindness and relief to provide a strong foundation as families work  toward stability. Funds raised through the Celebration Dinner support PATH’s ongoing work and mission.

The PATH Week Celebration Luncheon will be held from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 7, at  the Green Acres Baptist Church Crosswalk Conference Center.
