Old Shiloh Cemetery Annual Picnic
The 170th annual Old Shiloh cemetery picnic is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4 at noon, preceded by the Annual Business meeting is at 10:00 with the election of Committee
Members.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans, Thomas L. Rosser camp, will give a Cannon and Musket salute for all of our veterans, living or deceased, at 11:00 preceding lunch.
There are 34 Civil War veterans interred in the cemetery, along with over 150 U.S. veterans.
All military graves will be marked with American flags.
Old Shiloh Cemetery is located approximately seven miles N/E of Mt. Enterprise on State Highway 315.
The cemetery, dating to 1853, is a perpetual care cemetery and has been expanded twice in the last twenty years.
Families interested in reserving a burial plot may meet with cemetery Sexton Paul Jett.

Maintenance is greatly dependent on donations that supplement the trust fund at VERA BANK.
