Description:

 

Preliminary investigation indicates that Vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound on C.R. 543 in the eastbound lane. Vehicle 2 was traveling northbound on C.R. 593. Vehicle 2 failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of C.R. 543 and C.R. 593 and was struck by Vehicle 1. As a result of the crash Vehicle 1 spun around exiting the roadway striking two construction workers. The investigation is on-going and no further information is currently available.

    I live in the old downtown area of Nevada at the corner of Collin and Center Streets. There are 4 way stop signs here. I see more people run through them, than stop at them. I hold my breath every time a car comes by. Lots more traffic and lots of inpatient drivers here now. Slow down people.
