Collection of biblical stories told in poetry highlights the importance of faith, trust and obedience to God
Author Dwain Fowler announces the publication of ‘A Children’s Fully Illustrated Book of Poetry’
MIDLOTHIAN, Texas – New release “A Children’s Fully Illustrated Book of Poetry” (published by LifeRich Publishing) from Dwain Fowler is a collection of biblical stories told in poetry.
This book tells 16 of the most dear and favorite stories of the Old Testament in an easily readable and fully illustrated way. Here, young readers will see how each Bible character was given a task from God to do and they not only fulfilled their tasks but overcame what would seem to be impossible odds in the process. God provided just what each needed to be obedient to God.
“In today’s society, we especially need Biblical lessons that show us God’s provision and power, because of its tendency to drift further and further away from Biblical principles,” the author states. “These Biblical stories will give each reader a positive example of faith and obedience.”
“A Children’s Fully Illustrated Book of Poetry” challenges and inspires both children and adults to step out by faith and trust God completely with their lives. This book is intended to give a platform for parents to help their children build a relationship with God and encourage them to look to him for the provisions in their lives.

About the Author
Dwain Fowler and his wife Maxine both grew up in Nebraska but did not meet each other until they attended Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, Wyoming, in the late 1970s. The two fell in love, got married in July of 1979, and were blessed with three boys and a girl — Daniel, Nathan, Larissa and Anthony. By God’s calling, the couple lived in Brazil from 1983 to 1992 as missionaries. While there, they worked at Camp Nova Vida with children and youth. From Brazil, they moved to Alberta, Canada, where they worked with Venture Teams International as the director of recruitment for five years. This organization put together music, drama and puppetry teams of college-aged young people, sending them to various countries to share the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ, using these mediums of communication. In 1997, the Fowlers moved back to Nebraska, where they were in the pastoral ministry until 2011. At that point, poor health forced Dwain into retirement. They then moved to Midlothian, Texas, where they currently live. Dwain enjoys writing, fishing, and stamp and coin collecting. He has written one book about their life ministry and over 135 poems. He is also involved in the leadership of the local church they attend. Maxine works in a local daycare working with 2-year-olds in her spare time. She enjoys sewing, crocheting, knitting and crafts. The couple will celebrate 44 years of marriage this year.
