Northeast Texas Habitat will host the Guinn Family Open House at 1509 Dixon Street, Longview on May 26th from 3 pm-5 pm. The public is invited to stop in for light refreshments and to tour the two bedroom, two bath home.
Habitat homes are made possible by the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers. The value of volunteer labor was $21,400 for this project. The home sponsors include the City of Longview Community Housing, Greater Longview United Way, Crain Foundation, Republic Elite Cabinetry, Whirlpool Corporation, Gecko Pest Control, Mr. Cooper Company, Schneider Electric, Atlas Roof Shingles, Ward, Smith & Hill, and LeTourneau University Habitat Club.
“We are thrilled to open the Guinn Family’s Habitat home to the community during our Open House tour on May 26th,” said La Juan Gordon, NE Texas Habitat CEO. “This event symbolizes the heart and soul of our mission, showcasing the power of unity and the extraordinary impact we can create when we come together to transform lives. Each room tells a story of resilience, commitment, compassion, and the boundless potential that safe, affordable housing unlocks for families.”
Media are invited to arrange for interviews immediately before or after the event. The homeowner will be on site from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. Please contact Caroline Korolewicz email@example.com for coordination of times.
