Freedom from God not the utopian paradise some think it is

Judges 2: 10After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the Lord nor what he had done for Israel. 

Exodus 1: 8Then a new king, to whom Joseph meant nothing, came to power in Egypt.

Ecclesiastes 9:  15  Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.

All these verses deal with historically accurate situations where the masses forgot about the right way of doing things.  They forgot their past and thus messed up their futures.  If you don’t study the errors of your past… you will repeat them.

Today the herd of people clang the bell of  “freedom” thinking it means they are free to do whatever they want whenever they want… but as usual… the herd is wrong.

When our founding fathers used the word “freedom,” they meant freedom from tyranny, freedom from religious persecution, freedom from abuse of power, and freedom from taxation without representation.   Our founding fathers fought for freedom from bad stuff… not to allow bad stuff!

To allow LGBTQ lifestyles is NOT FREEDOM!   To allow abortion is NOT FREEDOM!  To force a decreased amount of security for our national borders is NOT FREEDOM!   To pervert the voting of the masses is NOT FREEDOM!  To reject God and His Moral Law is NOT FREEDOM but the same old stupid/sinful behavior that man has been doing since the dawn of time and it NEVER WORKS OUT!

Hosea 4: 5You stumble day and night,

and the prophets stumble with you.

So I will destroy your mother— (meaning Israel the nation)

6my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

“Because you have rejected knowledge, (meaning the knowledge of good and evil…God’s Moral Law)

I also reject you as my priests;

because you have ignored the law of your God,

I also will ignore your children. (meaning the children of Israel)

Freedom from  God and His Moral Law is not the utopian paradise of drug induced hedonism most seek!   Fools long for the night of partying and dismiss the morning of hangovers and horrifying news about drunken deeds done.   It’s the mornings after that stick around a lot longer than the night of immoral bliss!

America DOES NOT KNOW anymore.  We have become a nation of sinful/stupid fools and we will drive this country right off the cliff just as ancient Israel did.  It is happening before our very eyes right now!  The proof is that people cry out for “conservative values”  not Godly values.   Conservatism is a political concept which never originated from God.  It was concocted by man.     Conservatism is NOT Christianity and can not save America.  To deny this is to be horrifically dumb!

This is why I cry out for all to REPENT!  GET          YOUR SHIT TOEGTHER!  When the storm hits… it will be too late.   You must NOW seek wisdom  and forgiveness… not assume it will be there later.   If you have this attitude… you are acting just like the 5 virgins with no oil (see notes on Matthew 25 in Volume 6).    Putting off repentance because of personal hobbies or “too busy with work” is the surest way to be just like the herd… and you will end up just as slaughtered.

Time to ask, “do I know?”  Time to ask… am I putting God first above all things?
