As you may know, Title 42 expires today. For the last several years, Title 42 has been the primary driver in expelling illegal immigrants who have attempted to cross the southern border into the United States – over 2.5 million since 2020, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
With the expiration of Title 42, thousands of illegal immigrants are expected to make their way to our southern border in hopes of crossing into our nation.
