TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY – Grayson County Aircraft Crash

Location: Little Mineral Arm of Lake Texoma.  

Aircraft: Experimental Sea Ray.  

Tail Number: N-40SR.  

Owner: Michel Joseph Purinton.  

Pilot: No injuries.  

Michel Joseph Purinton, male, 72 YOA, from Pottsboro, TX.  

Passenger: Minor injuries (not transported).  

Savannah Dayle Pryor, female, 26 YOA, from Pottsboro, TX.  

Description: Preliminary investigation indicates the aircraft took off from the North Texas  Regional Airport in Denison, TX. As the pilot landed in the lake, the aircraft overturned. The  pilot was not injured, and the passenger sustained minor injuries. The Federal Aviation  Administration (FAA) has taken over the investigation, and any further inquiries must be  requested from the FAA.
