“You have been sued. You may employ an attorney. If you or your attorney do not file a written answer with the clerk who issued this citation by 10:00 a.m. on the Monday following the expiration of 20 days after you were served this citation and petition, a default judgment may be taken against you. The First Petition of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Petitioner, was filed in the District Court of Gregg County, Texas 307th Judicial District on the 7th day of July, 2022, numbered 2022-1064-DR, and entitled, “In the Interest of HAYDEN THOMPSON, A Child.” The suit requests termination of the parent-child relationship between BRANDON WELCH, and the child, HAYDEN THOMPSON. The date and place of birth of HAYDEN THOMPSON is January 4, 2022: unknown location, to Caitlyn Collier.

“The Court has the authority in this suit to render an order in the said child’s best interest that will be binding on you, including the termination of the parent-child relationship, the determination of paternity, and the appointment of a conservator with the authority to consent to the child’s adoption.
