UT Health East Texas Physicians in Tyler welcomes Mariana Ponce, board-certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner
Tyler (April 5, 2023) — UT Health East Texas is expanding orthopedics and sports medicine services in Tyler with the addition of Mariana Ponce, MS, APRN, AGNP-C. Ponce, who is fluent in English and Spanish, is a board-certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner.
“My first job in healthcare was in orthopedics as a medical assistant. I fell in love with working with the adult/geriatric population — helping them recover post operatively, improving their mobility and helping patients recover from fractures,” Ponce said. “I am committed to providing my patients with the best care, as well as working together to come up with a specific treatment plan that will meet their needs.”
