TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY – 01/31/23 TROOPER INJURED IN TRAFFIC CRASH NAVARRO COUNTY

NAVARRO COUNTY – On January 31, 2023, at around 8:45 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper Curtis Putz was struck by a vehicle while investigating a crash on I-45 near mile marker 220 in Navarro County. Trooper Putz was seriously injured and transported to a Dallas area hospital where he remains in serious condition.
