Driver: Critical injuries.
Lorenzo Perez Mendoza, male, 55 YOA, from Krum, TX.
Vehicle two: 2016 Ford Flex.
Driver: Deceased.
Kelsey Harris, female, 42 YOA, from Krum, TX.
Description: Preliminary investigation indicates vehicle one was traveling westbound, and vehicle two was traveling eastbound on FM-1173. The driver of vehicle 1 braked and veered into the eastbound lane to avoid a collision with stopped traffic and crashed head-on with vehicle two. The driver of vehicle one was transported to Medical City Denton with critical injuries, and the driver of vehicle two was pronounced deceased at the scene. This investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available.
