CHUY’S TEX-MEX GRAND OPENING IN LONGVIEW

Iconic Tex-Mex restaurant set to open on Tuesday, December 6, 2022
DECEMBER 5, 2022 – LONGVIEW: Chuy’s, the Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant known for its authentic, fresh food and eclectic design, will officially open to the public on Tuesday, December 6. The restaurant, located at 208 E. Loop 281, will serve lunch and dinner daily, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Patrons can also enjoy Chuy’s happy hour drink specials and $5 queso weekdays, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“We have been blown away by the welcome we have received in this community even before opening our doors,” stated Brandon Hurdle, Chuy’s Longview General Manager. “We look forward to offering the real East Texas our popular Tex-Mex favorites, as well as partnering and giving back to this amazing community.”
Diners visiting Chuy’s Longview will be greeted by the fun, quirky decor the restaurant is famous for, including an Elvis shrine; the La Chihuahua Bar, showcasing framed pictures of local dogs; a hand-carved wooden “school” of fish hanging overhead; and a hubcap-covered ceiling. The menu features made-from-scratch dishes, including favorites like the Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom Enchiladas and Big As Yo’ Face Burritos. All are crafted with fresh, homemade tortillas made each day.
