Rising country star Drake Milligan will perform Nov. 19 at Dodson Auditorium

Rising country star Drake Milligan will perform at Kilgore College’s Dodson Auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 19.
The show, set for 7 p.m., will feature Milligan and opening act David Adam Byrnes.
Milligan recently became a national sensation by finishing third place in September on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”
He is also well-known for portraying Elvis Presley on the CMT TV series, “Sun Records.”
Milligan burst onto the national music stage in August entering the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart at No. 5 after dominating iTunes.
He charted back-to-back No. 1 hits on the iTunes Country Songs Chart, No. 1 on iTunes All-Genre Chart and reclaimed the No. 1 spot on iTunes Country Albums Chart — all while simultaneously holding positions No. 1-3 and No. 5 on the iTunes Country Video Chart.
Milligan recently released his full-length debut album, “Dallas/Fort Worth,” via Stoney Creek Records, co-produced by award-winning record producers Tony Brown and Brandon Hood.
Milligan is from Mansfield and moved to Nashville when he was 19 years old to pursue a singing career.
