JCU WOMEN’S BASKETBALL WRAPS UP HALO CLASSIC WITH WIN

SAN ANTONIO – Faith Robinson continued her streak of double-doubles this season as she put up 13 points and 11 rebounds to notch her third double-double through three games as the Jarvis Christian women’s basketball team cruised to a 81-49 win over North American University.

 

Robinson and Meya Gibson led the way for the Bulldogs with 13 points each. Robinson posted two assists and a steal to complement her double-double effort. Gibson recorded four rebounds and two assists.

 

Ne’kyhria Rogers, Micah McCrea, and Tarondia Harold also put up double figures in the points category. Rogers had 12 points to go along with five rebounds. McCrea recorded 12 points and three rebounds. Harold had 10 points and five rebounds.

 

JCU won the battle of the boards with 43 team rebounds compared to NAU’s 26. The Bulldogs also capitalized off NAU turnovers as JCU totaled 21 points off turnovers. JCU finished the game 31-60 on field goals with 40 points in the paint.
