“Murder on Main Street: A Family-Friendly Whodunnit Mystery Event” set for Sunday, October 9 at 6 p.m. in downtown Kilgore. 

Kilgore Downtown Merchant Association will host “Murder on Main Street: A Family-Friendly Whodunnit Mystery Event” on Sunday, October 9 at 6 p.m. in downtown Kilgore. 

Attendees will have the chance to solve a fictional murder case involving a local Kilgore celebrity and several participating downtown merchants. After discovering the crime scene, attendees will visit several businesses, searching for clues and putting together the pieces to figure out the murderer’s identity.

While gathering clues, there will also be time to check out each business and do a little shopping. The murderer will be revealed to all at the conclusion of the search for clues. This event will also serve as a walking tour to see what downtown Kilgore has to offer. 

Tickets will be $10 each for ages 13 and up, and will be available for purchase at the participating businesses (see list below), and will also be available on the evening of the event. Proceeds from this event will be used to help market participating businesses during the holiday season.
