Court Rules Against Social Media Companies in Free Speech Censorship Fight –‘We reject the idea that corporations have a freewheeling First Amendment right to censor what people say’ | 17 Sept 2022 | A federal appeals court in New Orleans has ruled in favor of a Texas law that seeks to rein in the power of social media companies like Facebook and Twitter to censor free speech. The decision by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, handed down on Sept. 16, upholds the constitutionality of a Texas law signed by Gov. Greg Abbott last year and delivers a victory to Republicans in their fight against big tech censorship of conservative viewpoints. “Today we reject the idea that corporations have a freewheeling First Amendment right to censor what people say,” U.S. Circuit Court Judge Andrew Oldham wrote in the opinion. “Because the district court held otherwise, we reverse its injunction and remand for further proceedings,” Oldham added, setting the stage for a showdown in the U.S. Supreme Court.
New study finds organ recipients rejecting transplant after receiving COVID vaccine | 13 Sept 2022 | Some transplant recipients are rejecting their new organ and scientists say the coronavirus vaccine may be to blame. According to a new study published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine, acute corneal allografts are being rejected by immunized patients who’ve undergone the procedure. Researchers say the underlying cause could be tied to a systemic inflammatory response elicited by the shot post-jab. Corneal grafts are used to restore a damaged cornea. The surgery is known to be one of the most successful organ transplant procedures with low rejection rates… Japanese researchers compiled data from 23 studies. A total of 23 eyes from 21 patients who had undergone corneal graft procedures were assessed. Graft rejection occurred anywhere from one day to six weeks after vaccination in all patients–some who underwent the procedure as far back as twenty years ago.
Judge Rules NYPD Can’t Fire Cop Who Refused to Receive Experimental Covid-19 Shot | 15 Sept 2022 | On Tuesday, a court in New York ruled that the NYPD could not terminate an officer who refused to take the shot and had sued the city over its mandatory COVID vaccination policy. This may help the nearly two dozen police officers who have brought similar lawsuits, according to the New York Post. Alexander Deletto, a 43-year-old police officer, had his request for a religious exemption granted after the city failed to provide a specific explanation for rejecting his appeal. The NYPD denied Deletto’s request for religious exemption on Feb. 15. Without providing any additional context, the NYPD simply stated, “does not meet criteria.” Deletto — a nine-year veteran of the force who works out of the 88th Precinct in Clinton Hill — filed suit the day before he was set to be fired on Aug. 5 for not getting vaccinated.
Trident Order #12, Which Disqualified SEALs From Duty for Seeking Vaccine Mandate Religious Exemption, Quietly Canceled by U.S. Navy| 15 Sept 2022 | “Trident Order #12” disqualified SEALs seeking religious exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccine. SEALs seeking the exemption would be barred from training, traveling for deployment and conducting other standard business thus making them un-deployable. The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on the negative impact that vaccine mandates have had on the US Military as well as the concerning use of the mandate to “intentionally purge” religious military members… The US Navy quietly rolled back Trident Order #12, an order denying religious exemptions for covid vaccinations, a few months after an injunction was issued by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in early 2022 as part of an ongoing lawsuit brought by First Liberty Institute.
Marine Corps rescinds penalties for service members seeking COVID vax religious accommodations –New guidance comes after Fox News Digital report that Navy also rolling back penalties | 16 Sept 2022 | The U.S. Marine Corps is rolling back strict punishments for service members seeking religious exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccine, including ending involuntary terminations and delays of promotions for those refusing the shot. According to a new “interim guidance,” signed Sept. 14 and posted quietly online, the message “amends actions” directed toward unvaccinated Marines whose religious accommodation requests were denied and who appealed the decision. The memo states that the amended guidance comes after a U.S. Federal District Court in Florida issued a preliminary injunction on Aug. 18 prohibiting the Marines from taking “certain actions” against those seeking religious exemptions.
CDC Director Admits Agency Gave False Information on COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Monitoring | 13 Sept 2022 | The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has acknowledged publicly for the first time that the agency gave false information about its COVID-19 vaccine safety monitoring. Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the agency’s director, said in a letter made public on Sept. 12 that the CDC did not analyze certain types of adverse event reports at all in 2021, despite the agency previously saying it started in February 2021. “CDC performed PRR analysis between March 25, 2022, through July 31, 2022,” Walensky said. “CDC also recently addressed a previous statement made to the Epoch Times to clarify PRR were not run between February 26, 2021, to September 30, 2021.”
Denmark Government Advises People Under 50 Not to Get COVID-19 Boosters | 15 Sept 2022 | Denmark will not offer those under the age of 50 more COVID-19 vaccine boosters, the Danish Health Authority announced this week. “The purpose of vaccination is not to prevent infection with COVID-19, and people aged under 50 are therefore currently not being offered booster vaccination,” the agency wrote in a Sept. 13 statement. The Scandinavian country also explicitly dropped any pretense to halt the spread of COVID-19 and announced it will focus on protecting vulnerable individuals, including people with compromised immune systems and the elderly… Instead, the agency has an “aim to prevent serious illness, hospitalization, and death,” the statement said. Denmark was one of the first countries in the world to stop giving COVID-19 vaccines to healthy children.
Insane in the membrane: U.S. Government Announces Additional $600 Million Arms Package to Ukraine | 17 Sept 2022 | The Biden regime recently green-lit an additional 600 million arms package for Ukraine. According to Press TV, the United States government’s move was met with sharp condemnation from the Russian government. The authorities in Russia warned that continued military aid to Ukraine will only worsen the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. Per a White House memo that the U.S. State Department received on September 15, 2022, this injection of military aid features High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), claymore mines, mine clearing equipment, night vision goggles, 105mm artillery rounds, and 155mm precision-guided artillery rounds.
Photo of Zelensky guard sporting Nazi insignia vanishes –An image released by the presidential office showing a soldier with an SS-style patch has been quietly removed | 17 Sept 2022 | Ukraine’s presidential office has altered the set of photos displayed from Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to the recently re-captured town of Izium in the country’s east. A picture of one of Zelensky’s armed guards wearing an SS-style patch has been quietly removed from all platforms. The photo, originally released on the presidential website, Telegram, and other social media, featured a soldier with a stylized skull and crossbones symbol that closely resembles the one used by the 3rd SS Panzer Division “Totenkopf.” The offensive patch appeared to be a modernized, “tactical” version of the insignia, with the skull adorned with a ballistic helmet with headphones. But the helmet appears to display the skeleton key symbol, the insignia of the 1st SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler.
CIA torture report to remain secret for ‘national security’ | 16 Sept 2022 | A US federal judge has ruled that a sprawling congressional report on the CIA’s Terror War torture program will remain classified, claiming citizens have no right to access the controversial document, portions of which were already leaked to the public by a Democratic senator in 2014. In a decision on Thursday, District of Columbia Judge Beryl Howell said the report “does not qualify as a public record subject to the common law right of public access,” as a previous case concluded it was a “congressional record” and therefore could not be obtained through standard Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. “The Report contains highly classified information about the CIA’s detention and interrogation policies and procedures that would compromise national security if released, far outweighing the public’s interest in disclosure,” the judge wrote in her opinion.
Fertilizer Ban Trims Yields by 30-60% | 30 Aug 2022 | Posted in Crop Protection, Nutrient Management In April of 2021, the president of Sri Lanka banned the import of fertilizers and pesticides and told the southwestern Asia country’s two million farmers they were immediately moving to total organic production. The predictable result was a dramatic drop in yields and a food crisis for its 22 million residents. While the government policy was dropped in November, it was too late to overcome limited food supplies due to 30-60% yield decreases for most crops and grocery prices that increased by as much as 90%. Even with the short-lived organic-only mandate, thousands of farmers are facing bankruptcy… Rice production fell 20% within 6 months, forcing the government to import 450 million of rice to feed its citizens.
Insect chips could be just the cricket for the planet’s future | 13 Sept 2022 | Snacks containing bugs have been introduced to 1000 school canteens across the nation by a NSW company that said its products could help save the planet from global warming. Kids around Australia are now munching on chips dusted with an eco-friendly cricket protein made by Circle Harvest. One 50g pack contains more protein than an egg, as well as 14 per cent of the recommended daily intake of iron, said Circle Harvest founder Skye Blackburn, who is also an entomologist and food scientist. “It’s better for you and it’s better for the planet,” Ms Blackburn said. Protein from insects generates about 1/100th of the greenhouse gases from traditional livestock farming. Changing Australians’ eating habits, including by replacing red meat with bugs as a source of protein [But not for the elites – just us peasants, right?], is recommended in research underpinning the climate action plan of leading independent MP Zali Steggall.
Facebook Spied on Messages of Conservatives Questioning 2020 Election, Sent Them to FBI – Report | 15 Sept 2022 | A recent report claims that Facebook has been spying on the private messages of American users and reporting them to the FBI if they express anti-government sentiments or question the 2020 election. The New York Post reports that Facebook has been spying on the private messages and data of American users. The company has reportedly been informing the FBI of users that express anti-government or anti-authority sentiments. Sources within the DOJ allege that the company also reported users that questioned the validity of the 2020 election. As part of an FBI collaboration operation, an employee at Facebook red-flagged private messages containing such sentiments over the past 19 months, transmitting redacted versions to the domestic terrorism operational unit at the FBI headquarters in Washington, DC. This was all done without a subpoena.
Judge names special master in Trump FBI case, denies DOJ use of disputed documents | 15 Sept 2022 | U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon on Thursday appointed New York Judge Raymond Dearie as special master to independently review documents the FBI took from former President Donald Trump’s Florida home in early August. Cannon’s appointment of Dearie came alongside a separate ruling that denied the Department of Justice’s request to continue its own review of the documents. “The Court does not find it appropriate to accept the Government’s conclusions on these important and disputed issues without further review by a neutral third party in an expedited and orderly fashion,” Cannon wrote in her ruling denying the DOJ further review of the seized documents. The DOJ has already appealed that matter to the 11th Circuit.
Another 50 migrants arrive at VP’s residence, three buses head to New York | 17 Sept 2022 | Around 50 migrants arrived outside Kamala Harris’s official Washington, D.C., residence on Saturday morning, marking the third bus sent by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott who is cracking down on illegal immigration in his state. The bus, which carried people mostly from Venezuela, included a one-month-old baby. Upon arrival, aid workers took the migrants to a local shelter. Separately, three more buses carrying migrants arrived in New York City on Saturday morning. Mr. Abbott announced his plans to ship migrants to so-called sanctuary cities to send a message to the Biden administration about its loose border policies.
2 busloads of migrants dropped off near U.S. Naval Observatory | 15 Sept 2022 | Two buses of migrants from the U.S.-Mexico border were dropped off near Kamala Harris’s home in residential Washington on Thursday morning in the bitter political battle over the Biden administration’s immigration policies. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has been busing migrants out of Texas to cities with Democratic mayors as part of a political strategy this year because he claims there are too many arrivals over the border to his state. Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey also has adopted this policy, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis also got in on the act recently… Abbott tweeted that he’d sent the buses that arrived Thursday: “We’re sending migrants to her backyard to call on the Biden Administration to do its job & secure the border.” About two dozen men and women stood outside the U.S. Naval Observatory at dawn, clutching clear plastic bags of their belongings carried with them over the border, before moving to a nearby church.
Martha’s Vineyard Migrants Being Shipped to Joint Base Cape Cod | 16 Sept 2022 | Migrants flown to Martha’s Vineyard by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are being transported to Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC). Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker’s administration on Friday released details to provide shelter and humanitarian support for the migrants, and added that the National Guard will be activated as part of the relief effort. DeSantis sent a pair of flights of illegal immigrants Wednesday to Martha’s Vineyard in the latest move to get Democrat-run areas away from the southern border to bear some responsibility for Joe Biden’s “open border policies.” Baker’s administration said shelter and humanitarian supports will be provided at JBCC for the approximately 50 Venezuelan migrants who arrived in Martha’s Vineyard this week.
DeSantis Sends Illegal Immigrants on Flights to Martha’s Vineyard –Martha’s Vineyard–where former President Barack Obama bought a $12 million home in 2019–is an island south of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. | 16 Sept 2022 | Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has sent two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, following through on his plan to send illegal aliens to Democrat-controlled areas. Taryn Fenske, the governor’s communications director, told media outlets in a statement on Sept. 14 that the flights were part of Florida’s “relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations.” Fenske pointed out that Florida’s Republican-controlled Legislature has handed DeSantis 12 million to transport illegal immigrants out of the state. When the governor made the budget request in December, he named Martha’s Vineyard as one of the destinations for sending illegal aliens, as well as Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware.
Illinois Governor Issues Emergency Disaster Over Illegal Immigrants Bused From Texas | 15 Sept 2022 | The governor of Illinois on Wednesday issued an emergency disaster proclamation after several hundred illegal immigrants were bused from the U.S.–Mexico border to Illinois. Gov. J.B. Pritzker, a Democrat, issued an executive order to send 75 members of the state National Guard to assist in making sure “all state resources are available to support asylum seekers arriving nearly daily to Chicago from the state of Texas.” For months, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s administration has been sending illegal immigrants who crossed into Texas from Mexico to several Democrat-run municipalities, including New York City, Illinois, and Washington, D.C. The three cities have declared themselves “sanctuary cities” that will not cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement orders.
Migrants killing dogs, stealing from homes prompts some Texas border town residents to arm themselves | 13 Sept 2022 | Migrants have killed pets, stolen from shops and knocked on doors late at night in a Texas border town, prompting some residents to arm themselves, locals told Fox News. “I don’t feel safe,” Laura Ramos, an Eagle Pass business owner, told Fox News. She said she keeps “several weapons” at her store for defense… Kamala Harris, who Joe Biden had tasked with tackling the migrant crisis, recently said in an interview, “the border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system.” “I live far from the downtown, but in that area, it’s a lot of ranch[es], a lot of big properties,” Cindy told Fox News. She said migrants went onto one property, “and in order to steal something, they killed the dogs.” “They are like robbing stuff or killing animals to eat,” Cindy continued. “So that’s what concerns me.”
U.S. stocks skid to levels not seen since mid-July | 16 Sept 2022 | All three major U.S. stock indexes slid to levels not touched since mid-July, with the S&P 500 closing below 3,900, a closely watched support level. The S&P 500 lost 0.72% to end at 3,873.33 points, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.90%, to 11,448.40. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.45%, to 30,822.42. FedEx dominated the conversation. The package delivery company said it expects business conditions to further weaken in the current quarter after global volume softness accelerated in the final weeks the quarter ending August 31.
Fetterman cast lone vote in failed bid to free man convicted of murdering woman with scissors; DA speaks out –‘He had a predetermined agenda,’ District Attorney Matt Weintraub says of Fetterman | 16 Sept 2022 | Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. and Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman last year cast the lone vote in a failed bid to commute the sentence of a man convicted of murdering a woman with a pair of scissors. The district attorney in the case alleged during an interview with Fox News Digital on Thursday that Fetterman “had a predetermined agenda” to get the man released, and that he tried to use his power as chair of the state’s Board of Pardons to substitute the “power of the jury and the criminal justice system.” John David Brookins was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison in 1992 for the 1990 killing of his girlfriend’s mother, Sharon Ginsberg, who was found with a pair of large scissors lodged in her chest.
