NOTICE OF MEETING TO
CONSIDER PROPOSED BUDGET

The Upshur County Commissioners Court will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for Upshur County at 10:00 a.m. on August 31, 2022 in a meeting to be held in the County Courtroom, Third Floor, Upshur County Courthouse, 100 Tyler Street, Gilmer, Texas. The proposed budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $ 2,156,548 or 16.53%, and of that amount, $ 393,542 or 18.25% is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
