Dr. Vicki Smithers @ Gilmer Rotary Club – June 28, 2022

David and Dr. Vicki Smithers are owners and founders of Counting Stars Ranch in Ore City, TX. The 76 acre ranch is nestled in the piney woods near Lake of the Pines and Barnwell Mountain Outdoor Recreational Vehicle Park. We have 2 fishing ponds and acres of walking trails. Mission statements – We provide military Veterans and First Responders with service related disabilities and their service dogs support and a peaceful environment to rest, relax and renew. We connect Veterans/First Responders with local services, build community and assist them in building a stronger and more effective bond with their service dog. Company policies – We are an all volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization established in 2021. We operate a faith based program to meet the needs in our local community. We are completely funded by your generous donations.
