Come Enjoy a 1920s Ice Cream Social, Patriotic Picnic and More at Historic Nash Farm this July

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS – (June 24, 2022) – Bring the whole family to historic Nash Farm, located at 626 Ball St., to experience life on a 19th century working homestead. This July, the farm is hosting three fun-filled events, open to the public.

 

First Fridays: Patriotic Picnic – July 1, 10 a.m.–Noon

Come enjoy lawn games, refreshments and more. Bring along your picnic to celebrate Independence Day festivities. Tickets are $5 per person (ages 3+). Tickets Here

 

Bluegrass at the Settlement – July 2, Noon–4 p.m.

This free event is an opportunity for fans of Bluegrass/folk music to come enjoy jam sessions at the Settlement to City Museum Park, located at 206 W. Hudgins St.

 

1920s Ice Cream Social – July 9, 7 p.m.–Dark

Come enjoy a relaxing social evening of hand-cranked homemade ice cream and Victorian lawn games. Lawn chairs, quilts and picnics are welcome. Tickets are $10 per person. Tickets Here.

 

About Nash Farm

Grapevine’s agrarian traditions are preserved at Nash Farm, which includes the original 1869 farmhouse that belonged to the Nash family, historic barn and other structures. The farm raises heritage breed livestock including Gulf Coast Sheep, turkeys and chickens and grows heirloom field crops and produce.
