UT Health East Texas Physicians at North Campus Tyler welcomes Andrew Mellon, MD

Tyler, Texas (June 23, 2022) –  UT Health East Texas is expanding psychiatry services in Tyler with the addition of Andrew Mellon, MD.

 

Dr. Mellon began his career as a combat medic in the United States Army, where he completed a tour in Iraq. “This experience allowed me the value of continuing to pursue the healing arts, focusing on psychiatry because the field is obviously in need of more healthcare professionals.”

 

Dr. Mellon earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. He completed his internship in pediatric medicine at The University of Florida at Gainesville and residency in psychiatry at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center.

 

Dr. Mellon will begin seeing patients at UT Health East Texas Physicians at North Campus Tyler on July 1, 2022. For more information, call 903-877-7168.
