Studies Link Incurable Prion Disease With COVID-19 Vaccine | 4 June 2022 | Studies on COVID-19 vaccines have suggested links between Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD)–an incurable and fatal prion disease–and getting the COVID-19 vaccine. A recent French pre-print on CJD and COVID-19 vaccination has suggested that the COVID-19 vaccine may have contributed to the emergence of a new type of sporadic CJD disease that is a lot more aggressive and rapid in disease progression as compared to the traditional CJD. CJD is a rare disease caused by an abnormal protein in the brain called a prion. Prions naturally occur in the brain and are usually harmless, but when they become diseased or misfolded, they will affect nearby prions to also become misshapen, leading to deterioration of brain tissue and death. The disease is incurable as once one prion becomes infected, it will continue to propagate to other prions with no treatment capable of stopping its progress.

FDA Flags Heart Inflammation Risk Over Novavax COVID-19 Vaccine| 3 June 2022 | Staff with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Friday flagged the risk of heart inflammation following the administration of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine, although they concluded the shot reduces the risk of mild-to-severe COVID-19. In the company’s nearly 30,000 patient trial, conducted between December 2020 and September 2021, there were four cases of myocarditis, a type of heart inflammation also associated with mRNA vaccines, detected within 20 days post-vaccination… “These events raise the concern for a causal association with this vaccine, similar to the association documented with mRNA COVID19 vaccines,” FDA staff wrote in briefing documents that were released on Friday.

On Friday, Ed Dowd gave an update after first-quarter numbers were released. Ed Dowd said, “The overarching theme is excessive mortality remains elevated to the surprise of many executives…We have excess deaths running around 20% in Q1. We’ll see if that continues into Q2.”

Revealed: Fauci’s Recent $10M Monkeypox Grant –Gosh, What a Surprise. | 30 May 2022 | Anthony Fauci’s National Institutes of Health agency was funding research to identify treatments for monkeypox shortly before the virus began spreading in a global outbreak. Fauci’s agency, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), has previously come under scrutiny for funding bat coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which many public health experts and intelligence officials believe to be the source of COVID-19. NIAID has also funded research into potential cures for monkeypox, shortly before the viral disease began spreading in a global outbreak The grant supports a “randomized, placebo-controlled trial of the safety and efficacy of tecovirimat for the treatment of patients with monkeypox virus disease.” “The funding supports a clinical trial to identify effective treatments for monkeypox virus disease,” explains a summary of the research, which, despite beginning in September 2020, has not generated any publicly available studies, papers, or patents.

If U.S. Delivers Long-Range Missiles to Ukraine, Russia Might Hit Earlier Unaffected Targets – Putin | 5 June 2022 | On Wednesday, Joe Biden announced a new Ukraine military assistance package, which includes High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS). Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that if the US delivers long-range missiles to Ukraine, Russia might hit earlier unaffected targets. “Missiles are needed then, yes. But if they continue to be supplied, we will draw the appropriate conclusions from this and use those means of destruction we have, and of which we have plenty, to strike at those objects that we have not yet struck,” Putin said. Putin added that sending additional arms supplies to Kiev has only one goal behind it – to prolong the armed conflict as long as possible. The delivery of multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) to Ukraine from the U.S. is connected with replacing Ukrainian military equipment that has been lost.

Orthodox monastery burns on Ukrainian-controlled territory | 5 June 2022 | A major fire broke out at an Orthodox monastery located near the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) town of Svyatogorsk on Saturday. The area is controlled by the Ukrainian military and intense fighting has been reported from the area over the past few days. Footage from the scene circulating shows the Skete of All Saints engulfed in flames. The sprawling wooden structure was constructed in the late 2000s at the site of the former All Saints Church, which had been destroyed during the Soviet era… Before retreating from the site, Ukrainian nationalists and units with the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade deliberately fired incendiary rounds at the skete, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement, citing eyewitnesses. “The units of the Russian Armed Forces located north of Svyatogorsk are not conducting combat operations in this area and are not shelling the territory of the Svyatogorsk historical and architectural conservation area,” the ministry stressed.

U.S. will allow two companies to ship Venezuelan oil to Europe | 5 June 2022 | Italian oil company Eni SpA and Spain’s Repsol SA could begin shipping Venezuelan oil to Europe as soon as next month to make up for Russian crude, five people familiar with the matter said, resuming oil-for-debt swaps halted two years ago when Washington stepped up sanctions on Venezuela. The volume of oil Eni and Repsol are expected to receive is not large, one of the people said, and any impact on global oil prices will be modest. But Washington’s greenlight to resume Venezuela’s long-frozen oil flows to Europe could provide a symbolic boost for Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. The U.S. State Department gave the nod to the two companies to resume shipments in a letter, the people said.

According to the outlet’s sources, Pompeo has been summoned to appear as a witness this June, although he may give testimony via video link. FBI Arrests Peter Navarro One Day After He Vows to Impeach Biden | 3 June 2022 | The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested former White House economic adviser Peter Navarro on Friday, acting on a referral from the Democratic-run House that held him in contempt for refusing to testify at the partisan January 6 Committee. The arrest came one day after Navarro appeared on MSNBC to promise that he would lead efforts to promote the impeachment of Joe Biden if Republicans take Congress in the midterm elections, which they are expected to do. Navarro was held in contempt by Congress in March, along with former White House communications aide Dan Scavino, who was accused of refusing to testify based on false claims by the committee that he had not tried to cooperate. As Breitbart News noted at the time: Navarro has said candidly in interviews that the plan among Trump loyalists was to use a peaceful protest at the Capitol to pressure Congress and Vice President Mike Pence to reject the certification of Electoral College votes from states where the results were being contested by the Trump campaign. Contrary to the claims of the January 6 committee, Navarro said that the violence that erupted interfered with the plan and ensured its failure.

Democratic DeKalb County School Board member Marshall Orson, who is running for the county commission, asked the local election board on Thursday not to certify results as it was scheduled to do because of “numerous errors” with the local race, the paper noted… Wednesday evening, the results of a hand count were published, which showed that Michelle Long Spears, the last-place candidate, is now in first place and is heading for a June 21 runoff election against Lauren Alexander. Former first-place finisher Marshall Orson, meanwhile, was pushed down to third place.

Pa. court orders contested ballots counted in Senate primary | 3 June 2022 | A state court agreed Thursday night in a ballot-counting lawsuit with the campaign of David McCormick, who is in a neck-and-neck Republican primary contest for the U.S. Senate against celebrity heart surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz. In the decision, Commonwealth Court Judge Renee Cohn Jubelirer ordered counties to count the ballots in question, although her decision could be reversed, depending on what the U.S. Supreme Court does in the coming days on a separate case. Because of the high court’s involvement, Jubelirer ordered counties to keep the undated ballots separate from other ballots and to count them separately. The ballots in question are roughly 880 mail-in ballots that lack a handwritten date on the envelope.
