Northeast Texas Habitat for Humanity Participates in 2022 Day at the Dome Capitol Build
On June 9, 2022, several staff, board of directors, and volunteers will be swinging a hammer at the second “Day at the Dome Capitol Build” at the South Steps of the Capitol in Austin to help build the walls for a Habitat home in only three hours. Habitat for Humanity Texas is hosting the event to highlight the work being done by thousands of volunteers every year to build quality affordable homes for low-income families seeking homeownership as well as to highlight the importance of housing policy at the state level.
