Thus, Wills Point prevailed in this game, 20-18, creating a three-way tie for first. Kilgore advanced in Pool D on points to Chapel Hill Bulldog Stadium, falling to Silsbee, 24-13. In the other semifinal game, Lindale defeated Sulphur Springs, 27-6.
