$10,000 Putting People First Scholarship for local High School Seniors 2021-2022

Texas Real Estate Executives, The Daniels Group (TREE) is a real estate brokerage that services all of East Texas.  We have offices in Gilmer, Daingerfield, Longview and Gladewater.  For the 2021-2022 school year, we have established a $10,000 scholarship fund for local graduating seniors.  Our brokerage pride’s itself on putting our clients FIRST and we would like to award seniors who may share some of those same qualities in making this community one of kindness and selflessness.  

Our scholarships aren’t just about making good grades and being involved in clubs and sports, it’s about being a great, well-rounded individual.  We would like to award multiple seniors who go above and beyond with their peers, their teachers and their community.  Seniors who are dedicated, driven and determined.  Seniors who are active in the community, assists their peers daily and one who has an overall positive attitude.  We offered these scholarships to schools that fall within 20 miles of one of our local offices.  Students were nominated by their school.  Applications were reviewed by the scholarship committee and recipients were chosen and notified. 

Starting Monday, May 9th, we will be awarding a Gilmer High School Senior with the very first “Putting People First” Scholarship for the 21-22 school year.  We have 10 scholarships to award to HS seniors from Gilmer, Paul Pewitt, White Oak, Ore City, Longview HS, Union Grove, Gladewater, Sabine, Spring Hill and Pine Tree.  We will be presenting those for the next 3 weeks.
