WHAT:          Health care providers, athletic trainers and nurses from CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Health System will be on hand providing free sports physicals to more than 2,200 student athletes.

WHO:             More than 2,200 student athletes currently in 6^th, 8^th and 10^th grade at Hallsville, Leverett’s Chapel, Spring Hill, Hughes Springs, Ore City, Pine Tree, Tatum and Waskom Independent School Districts.

WHY:             All incoming student athletes are required by UIL to have completed a sports physical in the previous two years before joining their school’s athletics program.
