Biden Administration Gave Teachers’ Union ‘Unprecedented Access’ to Shape National COVID-19 Guidelines, Report Says | 30 March 2022 | The Biden administration gave teachers’ union officials “unprecedented access” to view and shape national COVID-19 guidelines, according to a new interim report by House Republicans. Republicans on the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis released a report on Wednesday detailing — through obtained emails and testimony — how the Biden administration had consulted with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) on COVID-19 guidelines. The report depicts the “cozy relationship with the Biden administration’s political leadership at the [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)] positioned the union to impose line-by-line edits,” Republicans wrote in a draft of the report. In granting the AFT the opportunity to view, comment on, and make suggested changes to draft guidance ahead of publication, the CDC broke with its “past practice to keep draft guidance confidential,” the draft continued.
Anthony Fauci: Americans Should Be Ready for Possibility of a ‘More Rigid Type of Restriction’ | 28 March 2022 | Dr. Anthony Fauci over the weekend said Americans need to be “flexible enough to pivot” back to a world with restrictions in place — “more rigid” restrictions, specifically — due to the coronavirus. Fauci has used recent media appearances to warn Americans that while trends appear to be going in the right direction, they need to be prepared to bring back coronavirus-era restrictions if public health officials deem it necessary. Joe Biden’s medical adviser made the same remark during an appearance on BBC’s Sunday Morning program as well, warning that people must be prepared for “a more rigid type of restriction.” However, he said he does not want to use the word “lockdown” as it is too controversial.

Judge Blocks COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Entire Navy | 29 March 2022 | The U.S. military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate has been blocked for all Navy members seeking religious exemptions. A preliminary injunction that previously covered 35 Navy SEALs now covers some 4,000 others. U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor, a George W. Bush appointee who entered the original ruling in January, agreed to expand it in part because all members who have applied for religious exemptions “have all been harmed in essentially the same way.” “Each is subject to the Navy’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Each has submitted her religious accommodation request, and none has received accommodation. Without relief, each servicemember faces the threat of discharge and the consequences that accompany it. Even though their personal circumstances may factually differ in small ways, the threat is the same–get the jab or lose your job,” he said in a 27-page order.
People’s Convoy Shifts Gears to Protest Proposed California Vaccine Laws | 28 March 2022 | Truckers protesting the Biden administration’s reluctance to give up its COVID-19 pandemic-induced emergency powers are now headed to California to fight against proposed vaccine-related legislation. Mike Landis, a lead trucker and spokesman for The People’s Convoy, told a crowd of truckers and supporters on March 27 that the proposed set of 10 legislative bills is tyrannical. The People’s Convoy left Adelanto, California, in late February and has been in the Washington, D.C., area for the last few weeks demanding that Joe Biden give up his emergency powers. “There’s been some tyranny brought to my attention today,” he said before he read aloud summaries of the 10 California bills: Assembly Bills: AB 1993 Employment: Vaccination requirements would require proof of COVID-19 vaccinations for all employees and independent contractors to work in California. AB 2098 Physicians and Surgeons: Unprofessional conduct would classify anti-COVID medical opinion as “unprofessional conduct” subject to discipline by the medical board. AB 1797 Immunization: Registry would create an immunization tracking system giving all government agencies access to vaccination records of all people

FEC fines DNC and Clinton for ‘Russian dossier’ hoax used against Trump | 30 March 2022 | The Federal Election Commission has fined the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign for lying about the funding of the infamous, and discredited, Russian “dossier” used in a smear attempt against Donald Trump weeks before he shocked the world with his 2016 presidential victory. The election agency said that Clinton and the DNC violated strict rules on describing expenditures of payments funneled to the opposition research firm Fusion GPS through their law firm. A combined 1,024,407.97 was paid by the treasurers of the DNC and Clinton campaign to law firm Perkins Coie for Fusion GPS’s information, and the party and campaign hid the reason, claiming it was for legal services, not opposition research. Instead, the DNC’s 849,407.97 and the Clinton campaign’s 175,000 covered Fusion GPS’s opposition research on the dossier, a basis for the so-called “Russia hoax” that dogged Trump’s first term…The agency said the law is clear and was violated.

CIA Officer Who Signed Hunter Biden Laptop Letter Claims Credit for Trump ‘Loss’ | 30 March 2022 | One of the former CIA officers who signed a letter claiming stories about a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden were disinformation says he helped swing the 2020 election away from President Donald Trump. [Not to mention a little bit of help from Zuckerbucks and Dominion.] “I take special pride in personally swinging the election away from Trump,” John Sipher, who served for decades as a senior operations officer at the CIA, wrote in a recent post on Twitter. “I lost the election for Trump? Well then I fell [sic] pretty good about my influence.” Sipher and 50 other former U.S. intelligence officials signed the letter on Oct. 19, 2020, alleging that the effort to distribute the laptop’s contents “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” despite not knowing whether the laptop was legitimate. The letter was at the core of a story from Politico that claimed the New York Post story about the laptop was “Russian disinformation.”

Hunter Biden laptop material entered into Congressional Record | 29 March 2022 | It’s now an official matter of record. Material from Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop was entered into the Congressional Record on Tuesday at the request of Rep. Matt Gaetz. The Florida Republican made the move during a hearing on oversight of the FBI’s Cyber Division after its assistant director, Bryan Vorndran, testified that he didn’t “have any information about the Hunter Biden laptop,” which the bureau seized from a Delaware repair shop in December 2019. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) initially blocked Gaetz’s request but relented a short time later.

Top civilian commander at US air base led child sex abuse ring | 29 March 2022 | The US Army and the State of Arizona missed multiple red flags that allowed a senior civilian commander at an air base in Afghanistan to lead a child s-x abuse ring over the course of a decade, according to records reviewed by AP. The news agency has interviewed one of the alleged victims, who is suing the state in a civil case that begins next week. David Frodsham, who pleaded guilty to abuse charges in 2016 and is serving a 17-year sentence, led a network that included an army sergeant who was later found guilty of posting child p-rnography online… When Frodsham returned to Fort Huachuca, he rejoined the army’s Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), serving as director of personnel for a global command of 15,000 soldiers and civilians, AP has reported.

UN nuclear watchdog chief in Ukraine to provide ‘urgent technical assistance’ –Ukraine has 15 nuclear reactors at four active power plants | 29 March 2022 | The U.N. nuclear watchdog’s director-general arrived in Ukraine on Tuesday for talks with senior government officials on delivering “urgent technical assistance” to ensure the safety of the country’s nuclear facilities, the agency said. The International Atomic Energy Agency said Rafael Mariano Grossi’s aim is to “to initiate prompt safety and security support” for Ukraine’s nuclear sites. That will include sending IAEA experts to “prioritized facilities,” which it didn’t identify, and sending “vital safety and security supplies” including monitoring and emergency equipment. It said that Grossi will travel to one of Ukraine’s nuclear power plants this week, but didn’t say which one.

All Russia’s big exports could soon be in roubles, Kremlin signals | 30 March 2022 | The Kremlin indicated on Wednesday that all of Russia’s energy and commodity exports could be priced in roubles, toughening President Vladimir Putin’s attempt to make the West feel the pain of the sanctions it imposed for the invasion of Ukraine. With Russia’s economy facing its gravest crisis since the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union, Putin on March 23 hit back at the West, ordering that Russian gas exports should be paid for in roubles. That move forced Germany, Europe’s biggest economy, to declare on Wednesday an “early warning” that it could be heading for a supply emergency. Germany imported 55% of its gas from Russia last year.

Italian official fired for supporting Russia –Stefano Gizzi has had his powers revoked after he published a photo of the letter ‘Z’ and expressed solidarity with Moscow | 29 March 2022 | Stefano Gizzi, the Councilor for Culture in the commune of Ceccano, Italy has had his powers revoked after sparking outrage by publicly expressing support for Russia in a now-deleted Facebook post. The official shared a picture of the letter ‘Z,’ which is now associated with Russia’s ongoing military offensive in Ukraine, as it has appeared on Russian tanks and vehicles participating in the operation, and wrote: “Solidarity with Russia, the Ribbon of St. George, victorious over the Dragon.” The post was apparently taken down by Facebook shortly after it was published, but it nevertheless managed to spark a wave of outrage, as several of Gizzi’s fellow politicians, including from his own ‘Lega’ party, called for him to be fired and for the Mayor of Ceccano to distance himself from Gizzi and his “shameful” and “intolerable declaration.

‘Zelenskyy Has a Nazi Soul’: Pro-Moscow Rally Held in Tel Aviv –‘We only want them to be together with Russia and not be Nazis,’ says one protester, decrying ‘incorrect’ media portrayal of Russia’s actions in Ukraine | 30 March 2022 | Dozens of people took to Tel Aviv’s Habima Square on Saturday to show their support for Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, a month into his invasion of Ukraine. The demonstrators carried Russian and Soviet Union flags, as well as signs saying “No to Russophobia.” “When you say, ‘Slava Ukraini’ (Glory to Ukraine) we hear Heil Hitler, and there is no place for this in our country,” said one demonstrator to passersby watching them.

U.S. Police Departments Send Equipment and Supplies to Ukraine Amidst Nationwide Surge in Violent Crime | 28 March 2022 | Police departments are shipping equipment and supplies that could be used to stop rising criminal activity in America to the battlefields of Ukraine, in another example of public officials putting Americans last when making their considerations. Vice News has reported that state police agencies in Vermont, Pennsylvania, New York, and Colorado are giving away equipment to Ukrainians in order to intervene and meddle in a foreign conflict thousands of miles away while crime surges in the homeland. The Colorado Department of Public Safety is giving 750 ballistic helmets and 80 sets of body armor to the Ukrainians. Pennsylvania’s Falls Township Police Department is sending 52 vests, which includes 15 high-grade ones equipped to be used in military combat, as well as battle dress uniforms, boots and medical supplies

Biden Will Drop Trump-Era Title 42 Border Restrictions May 23 – 170,000 Illegals Amass at Southern Border Ready to Storm U.S. | 30 March 2022 | Joe Biden on Wednesday announced he is planning on dropping a Trump-era order blocking asylum seekers at the US border on May 23. Title 42 was used by President Trump in 2020 to expel migrants seeking asylum during the Covid pandemic. Border Patrol agents encountered nearly 2 million illegals in 2021. Law enforcement has already encountered 1 million illegals in 2022 – and it’s not yet April.

Washington enacts plan to ban non-electric cars by 2030 | 29 March 2022 | Washington State Democrats have enacted a plan that would aim to ban most non-electric vehicles in the state by 2030. Gov. Jay Inslee (D) signed a bill last week that sets a target for all vehicles of the model year 2030 or later that are sold, purchased, or registered in the state to be electric. “On or before December 31, 2023, the interagency electric vehicle coordinating council…shall complete a scoping plan for achieving the 2030 target,” the new law says. The bill was passed as part of a 16.9 billion “Move Ahead Washington” package signed by Inslee on Friday. The governor said this legislation will combat climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
