Uncertain Treasures

SUNDAY February 27, 2022
“The good we procure for ourselves is precarious and uncertain until it is secured for all of us and incorporated into our common life.”
Jane Addams
With so much uncertainty around the globe, this edition offers some GOOD news. Children’s author Nancy Churnin writes inspiring stories that approach diversity by focusing on accomplishments of historical characters. Another story explains how Van Cliburn became known as “The Texan Who Conquered Russia” more than 60 years ago this week when he played for Russian audiences in Moscow. We also visit an exhibit in Marshall featuring artifacts from the towns of Karnack and Uncertain on Caddo Lake.
