Upshur 4-H food donation

Upshur County 4-Hers gathered food donations four times in 2021 and placed in Blessing Boxes in Upshur County, or delivered to donation sites in communities that don’t have a Blessing Box. In December, teams disbursed throughout the county to place the final collection. Non-perishable food was set in the Blessing Box at Harmony ISD by, from left, Rylee and Ruston Murphy, Elizabeth Thomas, Lillian Pool, Rebecca Thomas, James Thomas and Nate Thomas. An “H” in 4-H stands for “Heart” and members learn the value of using their talents and resources to give from the goodness of their heart to others.
