Young Audiences of Northeast Texas (YANETX) and Caldwell Arts Academy are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership to provide enriching summer camp experiences for students in grades K-8. The collaboration comes in response to a pressing need for high-quality, full-day summer camps focusing on artistic expression and catering to families with working parents.

Recognizing the challenges faced by families during the summer months, YANETX and Caldwell Arts Academy will offer comprehensive week-long summer camp adventures. These camps will integrate art, dance, drama, music, and academics into engaging and educational experiences for students of all ages. “We are excited to partner with Caldwell Arts Academy to bring dynamic summer camp opportunities open to Tyler and the surrounding communities,” Executive Director of Young Audiences of Northeast Texas Tasha Prescott said. “By combining our resources, we can offer diverse activities and experiences that inspire creativity, foster learning, and provide a fun-filled summer for students.”

One of the key features of the summer camps is their full-day format, running from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., making them accessible for families with busy schedules. “We understand the importance of providing full-day options for parents who need childcare during the summer,” Principal of Caldwell Arts Academy Bobby Markle said. “Our camps not only offer a safe and nurturing environment but also give children opportunities to explore their passions and develop new skills.“

The camps are open to all students in grades K-8, regardless of whether they attend Caldwell Arts Academy or reside within Tyler ISD boundaries. Each week will feature a different theme, with activities tailored to different grade levels, ensuring every camper has a unique and enriching experience.

“We believe every child should have access to high-quality arts education, and our summer camps are designed to provide just that,” added Tasha Prescott. “Through our partnership with Caldwell Arts Academy, we can offer exceptional instruction, a diverse curriculum, and affordable registration costs, making these camps accessible to all families.”

Registration for the summer camps is now open, and spaces are limited.
