Description: Preliminary investigation indicates that vehicle 1 was traveling south on US 67 in the area of CR 1119. Unit 2 was traveling north in the same area. Vehicle 1 entered the northbound lane, in a “no passing” area. Vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2 in a head-on manner. This caused heavy damage to both vehicles. Notification of next of kin for vehicle 2 occupants has not been made. When next of kin notification has been made an update will be released with vehicle 2 occupant identification. The Texas Department of Public Safety is working with the Georgia State Police to locate next of kin. This is an ongoing investigation and there is no further information.
