A few months back, Governor Greg Abbott wailed about the threats coming from “socialist cities like Austin, Houston, and Dallas.” Whether or not you share my excitement about the possibilities of a socialist Texas triangle, Abbott’s definition of socialism is about as absurd as it gets. But are most people’s definitions much better?
