| Texas crash data highlight why early education is so important. From 2022 through the end of 2024, crashes involving a teen driver included 1,293 fatal crashes, 6,019 serious-injury crashes and 254,267 overall crashes. Distraction, speeding, failure to buckle up and impaired driving are among the leading risks facing teen drivers. With increased traffic and changing routines during the back-to-school season, this class will provide teens and parents with practical tools to make safer decisions behind the wheel. The event is free and open to teens and their families.
