Texas Farm Credit Welcomes Scott Petty and Celebrates New Southlake Office

SOUTHLAKE, Texas — Texas Farm Credit recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Southlake branch while welcoming Scott Petty as Regional Vice President serving the Southlake and Fort Worth markets.

Located at 2101 E. Kirkwood Blvd. in Southlake, the full-service office expands the association’s ability to serve landowners, rural homeowners, and agricultural producers throughout the region.

Approximately 70 customers, community members, and Texas Farm Credit representatives attended the grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration. Petty and Regional President Dustin McClendon welcomed guests and shared remarks about the new office and the association’s commitment to the North Texas market. Texas Farm Credit’s executive leadership team and several members of its board of directors were also in attendance.

Guests enjoyed slider burgers from Easy Slider, a widely recognized and award-winning Dallas–Fort Worth food truck known for its gourmet sliders, along with snow cones from Winters’ SNOW and a variety of giveaways throughout the event.

“The opening of our Southlake office represents an exciting step forward for Texas Farm Credit and the customers we serve in this growing region,” McClendon said. “Scott’s extensive experience, strong leadership, and customer-first approach make him an excellent fit for our team. We are confident he will build lasting relationships and provide the trusted guidance our customers expect from Texas Farm Credit.”

Petty joined Texas Farm Credit earlier this year with more than 40 years of progressive experience in the banking industry. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for strong leadership, financial expertise, and a relationship-focused approach to serving customers and communities.

In his role as Regional Vice President, Petty provides leadership for the Southlake and Dallas branches while helping customers explore financing solutions for rural real estate, homes, construction, agricultural operations, and other lending needs.

“The opportunity to become a friend and trusted advisor to our customers is both a privilege and a responsibility,” Petty said. “I am honored to serve the stockholders of Texas Farm Credit and help strengthen the association’s presence throughout the Fort Worth and Dallas markets.”

A native of Lubbock, Petty holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He is also actively involved in his community and volunteers his time delivering meals to homebound residents. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in West Texas, fishing, golfing and tending to his greenhouse.

The new Southlake branch location reflects Texas Farm Credit’s continued investment in the region and its commitment to providing convenient, relationship-driven service.
