Cool off at the Texas Forestry Museum’s Family Day

LUFKIN – It’s been a hot summer, but you can cool off at the Texas Forestry Museum’s Family Day. Family Day is on Saturday, August 8th from 10:30 a.m. until Noon. Bring your family to enjoy fun activities including a waterslide, games, a craft, and more! We hope to see your family there and make sure to bring a towel. A special thank you to our event sponsor Higginbotham Company and HEB. The event is free and open to the public. Photos will be taken at the event for promotional materials.

The Texas Forestry Museum, a private non-profit organization, is located at 1905 Atkinson Dr. in Lufkin. We are open from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, except major holidays. For more information on the Texas Forestry Museum and its scheduled events, please call 936-632-9535.
