Longview’s Pack N Mail Receives SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Longview, TX – The UT Tyler-Longview Small Business Development Center (SBDC) announces that its client, Pack N Mail, owned by Megan and James Heath, of Longview, Texas, has received the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Dallas/Fort Worth District. “Pack N Mail is a true local success story and one that should make East Texans very proud,” says Day Shelmire, Director of the SBDC. “Megan and James have done an outstanding job as young entrepreneurs and first-time business owners growing the company.”
Pack N Mail operates as a one-stop shop for individuals and small businesses needing assistance with shipping, receiving, and handling documents and packages. With multiple locations in the Longview and Gilmer area, the business serves both consumers and business clients as a full-service retail shipping center, offering convenient solutions to meet a wide range of mailing and logistics needs.
“The Heaths were a pleasure to work with when they decided to purchase their first two stores and then expand to another location in Gilmer,” says SBDC Senior Business Advisor Virgel Conner. “Their loan request was a challenge, but we were able to assist them in securing an SBA loan that helped get them started.
