| THSCA and Walmart honor senior student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment both in the classroom and in competition for the 2025-26 Soccer season. San Marcos, TX (April 10, 2026) — The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) and Walmart are proud to announce the 2025-26 Academic All-State Teams for Soccer. The Academic All-State Award honors senior student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment both in the classroom and in competition. To access the list of Academic All-State Team recipients: https://www.thsca.com/academic-all-state/ As one of THSCA’s most prestigious honors, this award recognizes students from fourteen different U.I.L. sports, who excel in three categories: GPA, class rank, and ACT/SAT performance. To be eligible for nomination, an athlete must meet the following criteria: - An athlete, student trainer or manager in good standing with the team
- Of good moral character
- A Senior
- Have an overall grade point average of 92 or above
These honorees represent the spirit of dedication, discipline, and determination that THSCA and Walmart work to encourage in students across the state.
