JIM “PAPPY” MOORE: Cracking the Cracker Barrel Fiasco

There are tremors in America over the direction the famous Cracker Barrel eatery and country store has taken. Long time customers are leaving by the droves. What is going on?

It seems like a long time franchise in America is committing business suicide. Its customer base has been solid a long time. Let’s be honest. Its customer base is mostly white, mostly conservative, mainstream Americans who honor God, Country, and Righteousness. These are friends and neighbors who find the place reminiscent of growing up in a bygone era. Comforting.

Suddenly, the company seems to be taking a new direction that is running off customers and investors. What is going on?

In late 2023 the company got a new Chief Executive Officer. The new CEO was brought in to shake things up. In today’s world that means “make it more woke.” Now, why would the company start heading in a woke direction in 2023?

Look no further than BlackRock, the investment group which teams up with other big woke companies to take control of major corporations in the world. Those other companies include outfits like Vanguard and State Street, among others. What they do is both sneaky and effective. They band together to take control of the Board of Directors of big concerns, even though their collective ownership may be less than fifty percent ownership of the outstanding stock. By teaming up together they may step over and step on all the smaller investors. They can seize control of the Board of Directors and then install their own man, or more recently, their own woman, to make woke changes from the very top.

This is what is happening to Cracker Barrel. It has declared war on “Crackers,” as the term is used pejoratively and insultingly about those salt of the Earth Southerners who make up their customer base.

Cracker Barrel recently took the kindly old man off their sign, kicking him and the barrel to the curb. Now it is just Cracker Barrel. No old white guy. No barrel. And those rocking chairs they have had out front? Suddenly they are the colors of the rainbow. Yes, God’s rainbow, which has been appropriated by the LGBTQ crowd and those big companies in league with it. So it is a frontal assault by the people who hate our God, our religion, our beliefs, and our ways.

Recall that one of the top people in Biden’s Woke White House was from BlackRock. Recall also that both of the men who tried to assassinate Trump in 2024 had been in videos done by BlackRock, and the building from which the young man in Pennsylvania took his shots at Trump was owned by a BlackRock company. Aren’t these coincidences amazing?

Recall also that the assassination attempts came at a time it was becoming obvious Trump had Biden on the ropes, and more particularly, Biden had Biden on the ropes with his jibber jabber about “we finally beat Medicare.”

These woke attacks on major corporations serving the public are ongoing. BlackRock and those in league with them skirt antitrust laws by not owning singularly over a certain level of stock. But it is their ganging up together behind the subterfuge that they are not in an organized group attacking and bringing down major companies. Allegedly.

What do the attackers have to gain besides the power to push their woke agenda? Money. When they can control the business, they can drive the price of the stock down, then buy up shares from frightened investors as they abandon ship, worried about if and when the company might take a reorganization. Once the group has solid control at a low average buy-in, they can then dismantle the company assets and do what they will with them. Real Estate is a big factor. Former outlets can be sold at decent profits.

This may or may not come to be. Too early to tell. But the assault on the lifestyle of long time customers is real. It’s just like the disappearing of Uncle Ben, or Aunt Jamima, or the Indian girl on the Butter. They want to take your culture and rub your nose in it.

Know your enemy. It IS the woke. It is the army of greed, of godlessness, and of plunder. This is my opinion. Others may not share it.
