JIM “PAPPY” MOORE: Time for Pete Hegseth to Lower the BOOM!
By Jim “Pappy” Moore
Pete Hegseth is our Secretary of Defense, and he’s playing Defense to the backstabbing of some of his Generals. It’s time for Pete to go on the Offensive. Pete should have a public meeting around a big table, with him sitting at the head of the table. Any General he suspects of undermining him should be sitting at the table. Pete speaks.
“Generals, for years there have been trillions of dollars unaccounted for at this Pentagon. This level cannot account for the money it has spent. I want it accounted for. I want each of you to come back in a week and tell me how much money from your area is missing, and whether you have any idea where it went. If you need help finding it, I believe Elon Musk and his DOGE team can be helpful. WE are going to find out where all this money went, and WE are going to tell the President and the American People where it went.”
Then he should convene them in a week, again in front of cameras, to each report on their findings, with summaries regarding areas which they or their predecessors could not find the money missing.
I want Pete Hegseth to take the battle to the Generals, and he needs to put his critics on the hot seat. They hide in the shadows while they whine to media who give them cover but never ask “where did all that money go, General?!”
It’s time to get the answers for the American people. DOGE is all about finding fraud and waste. Well, no place in our government is less capable of telling where the money went than the Pentagon, and it is run by Generals.
To the extent possible, shine a bright light on the preceding Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, and his Joint Chiefs Shill, Mark Milley. Find out what these two did with the money while they were betraying the trust of the American people.
If ever a department needed to clean house and get rid of useless, overpaid people, it is the Pentagon. Somehow we fought World War Il with far fewer four and five star Generals than we have now. We need to cull any General who is not needed and useful. They are a privileged class, treated like royalty, with various subordinates stepping and fetching for them the way old time plantation owners treated their “help.”
Their greatest sin is disrespecting President Trump and his choices for key positions. They think they’re too good to be bossed by Pete Hegseth, a mere Major in their eyes. Teddy Roosevelt and Harry Truman were colonels. Gerald Ford was a Major. Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan were Captains. It’s time for these Generals to be put in their place, and their place is standing at Attention and giving the Secretary of Defense a sharp salute and proper respect.
Or, they can retire.
