Soldiers of the Land Launches New Campus to Support Veteran Farmers and Ranchers

Big Sandy, Texas 03/30/2026 Soldiers of the Land, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping military veterans build successful agricultural careers, announced today the launch of its new campus.
“This initiative represents a significant step forward in our mission to support the next generation of veteran farmers. By providing on the job training along with classroom education, certification, and mentorship we’re ensuring that our nation’s veterans have the guidance and resources they need to thrive in agriculture.”

Without proper guidance, many veteran farmers struggle unnecessarily.”

Soldiers of the Land is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping military veterans transition into agricultural careers and become the next generation of farmers and ranchers. Founded by veterans who understood the challenges of starting an agricultural business, the organization provides hands on training, classroom education, licencing and certification assistance mentorship, business guidance, and network support to help veterans succeed in agri-business.
