TJC Academy of Dance presents ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ March 5-8
Join Alice for a fun and surreal journey down the rabbit hole as Tyler Junior College’s Academy of Dance pre-professional program students and dance majors present their spring performance, “Alice in Wonderland.” This brand-new production is an artistic recreation of Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s book, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” that will delight and inspire.

“We are thrilled to present this unique performance of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ to East Texas and beyond,” said Carolyn Hanna, chair of the TJC Dance Department and director of the play. “With brand-new choreography from TJC Dance professors, audiences are welcome to dive into the mysterious and silly world with Alice.”
Dancing as Alice will be Kaylee Lesniewski, an eight-year veteran of TJC’s dance program; this is her first lead role.
Performances at the Rogers Palmer Performing Arts Center on TJC’s central campus will be held:
- Thursday March 5 7 p.m.
- Friday March 6 7 p.m.
