The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Announces the 2025-2026 Super Elite Teams for Cross Country

 THSCA recognizes athletes across Texas for their exemplary athletic achievements for the 2025-2026 UIL Cross Country season.

San Marcos, Texas (December 5, 2025) — The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) has released its 2025–2026 Super Elite Teams for UIL Cross Country, honoring standout student-athletes from across the state for their exceptional performance this season.

THSCA extends its sincere appreciation to the coaches who dedicate their time, expertise, and mentorship to the athletes nominated for recognition this year. Their commitment plays a vital role in the growth and success of student-athletes across Texas. The association also congratulates each honoree for achieving this distinguished recognition and representing their schools and communities with excellence.

Super Elite Team honorees are nominated by THSCA professional members and selected through a review process led by sport-specific advisory committees and the Super Elite Team (S.E.T.) Committee. The S.E.T. Committee includes 808 coaches representing all eight THSCA regions. Final selections are determined based on committee recommendations.

To be nominated, athletes must meet the following criteria:

  • Be varsity team members in good standing
  • Demonstrate strong character and exemplary athletic performance
  • Be nominated by a head coach who is a current THSCA professional member and meets all nomination deadlines

The mission of the Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation is to develop funds from a broad range of donors to provide professional education programs that will strengthen, reinforce, and enhance professionalism inhigh school coaches throughout the state of Texas.
