The book follows Gunnery Sergeant Jack “JD” Davis, an active-duty Special Operations Marine who is known for his calm resolve and restraint. But when the notorious Gatos gang attacks his family, his sense of duty is pushed to its limit. With law enforcement overwhelmed and military units barred from domestic engagement, JD takes matters into his own hands, delivering a brand of justice the streets have never seen.
