UT Health East Texas Celebrates Grand Opening of New West Loop Clinic
New facility expands access to urgent, primary and pediatric care for growing West Tyler community
Tyler, Texas (November 4, 2025) — UT Health East Texas celebrated the grand opening of its new clinic and urgent care facility on Tyler’s West Loop with a ribbon-cutting and community open house.
The 8,000-square-foot facility, located at 3753 Earl Campbell Parkway, is designed to expand access to care for families in West Tyler. The new site offers urgent care, pediatric care and primary care services under one roof, providing convenient, comprehensive healthcare close to home.
“We chose this location because it sits at the center of Tyler’s rapid growth along the western corridor,” said G. Todd Hill, CEO of UT
Health East Texas Physicians. “As our community expands, we’re investing in facilities that make it easier for families to get the care they need, when they need it.”
The new urgent care center features extended hours and walk-in treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, including fever, colds, flu, and cuts requiring stitches. The adjoining pediatric and family medicine clinics offers preventive and ongoing care to support long-term health for children and adults alike.
“Bringing pediatric and family medicine services to this location reinforces our mission to expand access to primary care across East Texas,” said Steven Cox, MD, President of the University Practice Plan. “This new clinic will make it simpler for busy families to get quality care right in their neighborhood.”
