He was rushed to hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries. “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.” Kirk’s spokesman Andrew Kolvet also confirmed the conservatives death, just before 5pm EST.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said a gunman opened fire at Evergreen High School, located 28 miles southwest of Denver, just after noon local time. JeffCo emergency communications said there were reports of “an active assailant in the area” at 12.40pm MST. Jefferson County Sheriff later said that “three people were transported to the hospital from Evergreen High School, all in critical condition.” The sheriff earlier said that at least two of the victims were students. They did not disclose whether the gunman had been arrested or identified.

No business and no individual should fear fools like this.” The governor also addressed the imam, saying: “If this person, or ANYONE, attempts to impose Sharia compliance, report it to local law enforcement or the Texas Dept. of Public Safety.”
