East Texas perennial plant trials June 26-27 in Overton and Brookshire

Over 200 varieties of annual, perennial and vegetable plants on display

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host the 2025 East Texas Annual and Perennial Plant Trials and Horticulture Field Day on June 26-27 in Overton and Brookshire.The first day of the event will be from 8:30-11 a.m. at the Overton East Farm Horticulture Area on County Road 133 and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Overton, 1710 Farm-to-Market Road 3053.

East Texas Plant Trials in Brookshire

Day two in Brookshire will be from 9 a.m. to noon at 1502 Farm-to-Market Road 1489.

Attendees will have the chance to explore over 200 varieties of annual, perennial and vegetable plants cultivated for growers, retailers, landscapers and home gardeners and see how these plants perform in typical East Texas conditions.
