Pronounced deceased on scene by paramedic.

Leah Gutierrez, female, 41 YOA of Dallas, TX

Unknown black male

 

Updated Information: Vehicle 2 has been described as a newer model Jeep Wrangler, Light Grey or neutral color. Driver 2 has been described by a witness as a black male, upper 40’s to lower 50’s, possibly 220 pounds, 5’10-6’00 in height, dressed casually – described as “upper middle class” attire. Previous Information: Preliminary investigation indicates that vehicle 1 entered IH 20 eastbound directly into the left lane of traffic in front of vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 then went around vehicle 1 and suddenly decelerated. Vehicle 1 swerved to avoid a collision and lost control. Vehicle 1 rolled into the westbound lanes of traffic and landed up right. Driver 1, passenger 1, and passenger 3 were ejected from the vehicle. Passenger 1 was pronounced deceased on scene. Witnesses observed driver 2 exit vehicle 2 and observe the injured parties. Driver 2 then left the scene. Troopers are investigating this crash a road rage incident. This is an ongoing investigation and there is no further information available.
